St Maarten Resorts

On this page I’m going to show you the best St Maarten resorts and what’s great about them. Sadly, you can no longer rely wholly on the review websites now that the resorts themselves have started dedicating their own people to boosting their own reviews and marking down their enemies.

Instead I thought I’d give you my own lowdown on what’s hot about St Maarten’s finest resorts.

If you’d like any other information please contact us or visit one of our sponsors.

Divi Little Bay – In terms of spectacular it doesn’t get much better than Divi Little Bay Resort, located on a peninsula between two stunning bays it is hard to imagine that it is close to the best shopping area in St Maarten Island.  The hilltops suites and beachfront apartments are full of wow factor and the service is of the highest order. If you want to feel like a celebrity and have a St Maarten all Inclusive experience this is the place for you although not within everyone’s price range.

St Maarten Resorts - Flamingo Resort

St Maarten Resorts - Flamingo Resort

Flamingo Beach Resort – Situated at the base of the stunning Paradise Peak nature reserve Flamingo Beach Resort is breath-taking.  A 100m crescent beach that forms part of Simpson Bay represents the beautiful resort frontage leaving the water in the bay a peaceful, clear lagoon all year round.  From a luxurious lounge chair surrounded swimming pool to complimentary snorkelling gear to a wide range of other water sports including water skiing, scuba and sailing, the resort has much to offer for lovers of the sea.  If the sea is not to your taste never fear as the evergreen forest is right behind you with guided and unguided tours aplenty. For me the beauty of Flamingo was its isolation from other busy areas so you can find real tranquillity.

St Maarten Resorts - Pelican Resort

St Maarten Resorts - Pelican Resort

Pelican Resort Club – Along with an excellent restaurant and first class service, the Pelican Resort Club also has its very own private beach, outdoor pool, tennis courts, spa, my personal favourite the barbecue grills and a casino!  If you like to hit a few golf balls then the onsite driving range and neighbouring golf course will suit you to a tee, and the hire of bikes and surfboards for those a bit more active.

In truth the Pelican Resort has almost everything you could possibly need.

St Maarten Resorts - The Summit

St Maarten Resorts - The Summit

The Summit Resort Hotel - Placed high above Simpson Bay Lagoon the Summit Resort Hotel offers fantastic panoramic views of the sea unlike anywhere else on the island. Like most of the Resorts on St Maarten All Inclusive this is the sort of place where you walk into your luxury hotel room and wow yourself as to how perfect the place is.  Not as well equipped as the Pelican Resort in making your stay an extremely active one but if you’re looking for peace and tranquillity then this is probably the place for you.
